VIRGINIA NATIONALS

* NEW* 1902 PB $20 Norfolk, VA (10194) PCGS 62PPQ

Most recent Heritage Auction 2014 Central States show purchase.  By no
means a rare note to locate, but finding one of this impeccable quality is as
difficult as locating a rare charter.  Norfolk is an honest, blue collar city known
for it's Navy roots.  Of course it is one of the marquee ports for that esteemed
branch of the armed forces.

1929 Type 1 $10 Rocky Mount, VA (8984) Fine

This scarce Peoples National Bank specimen is a delight to find in
problem-free status.  Rocky Mount is a fantastic middle-southern Virginia town
that has the pleasure of hosting some of the most historic times in U.S. History.
Small Virginia town nationals are a tough find as it is, Rocky Mount is not
only one of these small towns, but they're slightly more affordable than the rest.

1929 Type 2 $10 - Leesburg, VA (3917) VF

Leesburg nationals have so much going for them.  They're a growing town
that resides outside of the nation's capital and Dulles Int'l Airport.  In addition to its
small town roots, Leesburg is the quintessential colonial town today.
Talk about scarcity, only 4 Type 2 notes exist in the census!

1929 Type 1 $10 - Appalachia, VA (9376) Fine

Acquisition from 2013 Heritage - Long Beach auction.  One of my
favorite charters and very tough to locate as there are no more than
a dozen small size notes in the census.  Appalachia is a small town on the
fringe of the Virginia/W. Virginia border.  It's a pretty town during the fall
with the essence of coal and woody smoke that fills the air.
