MISC. NATIONALS

1929 Type 1 $20 - Cedarhurst, NY (11854) Fine

Some would think that national bank notes from any small town on populous
Long Island would be plentiful.  Not so the case with a Cedarhurst note from
the Peninsula National Bank.  Only a dozen or so smalls show in the census
with only a couple $20's in existence.  A beautiful village and a spectacular
problem free note!

1929 Type 1 $20 - Rochester, NH (11893) VF+

Replacement Serial Number Note

Here's a beauty that transcends scarcity to a whole new level.  With the
half dozen "Rochester" named towns that exist on national bank notes, this
example hailing from the Public National Bank is among the toughest to locate.
Another attribute that sets this one apart from the rest are the unique "rubber
stamped" serial numbers which dictate a replacement note.

1929 Type 1 $10 - Klamath Falls, OR (11801) PCGS Fine 12

Oregon nationals outside of Portland are not an easy feat to collect.
Case in point with this popularly named town and the scarcest of two
available chartered banks from this magnificent city.  The condition isn't ideal
for the high end collectors, but neither is locating a problem free example from
the American National Bank.

1929 Type 1 $20 - Centerville, SD (5477) XF+

Latest pickup into my state collection, the Centerville, South Dakota
addition is a nice and problem-free example that I've been looking for.  This
example is part of a census where only 18 notes have been reported.
